Well, in an impromptu collaboration page, we have Abby Lehrke on art and Remus Shepherd on colors! Seems that Abby is having some Wacom issues and wasn't able to provide colors for this week.
This page is kind of a last minute addition to the story. We didn't have a lot of pages with the Green Avenger between September and December, so we added a few.
We kind of retrofitted it into the story, as well. We were always going to have Io escape, but the other way was to have Io escape following her presumed death. Smiling Man was to take over Dasien's body and literally punch Io out of the air. Poor Das would have had such a guilty conscience about that, you know.
Just another story fluctuation. We're always moving things around. It makes you wonder if even we know how this thing ends, right? Hahahaha!
YOU DON'T KNOW HOW IT ENDS!!!
lol
I'm confused. Is Io's escape on purpose by Green or accidental? Otherwise I think it silly they thought they could cage someone who built a robotic nano-suit like she did with those metal bars - that are a bit too far apart anyway, lol. Just joking.
Oh, absolutely.
This page is actually important in more than one aspect, but I didn't want to get too far ahead of the comic.
By the way, Ben Carver and I appeared on the Webcomic Beacon again today in an impromptu show about story multiple story arcs. So impromptu, in fact, that I was not exactly prepared with any golden nuggets of wisdom. I barely knew what the topic was when coming onto the show, and even then, I was still kinda lost ten minutes into the show.
*sigh* You'd think I'd learn.
Fortunately, Ben was there to ham it up with awful jokes and pop-culture references.
It wasn't that bad, actually. It's easy to forget, seeing how Remus very rarely has any coloring issues.
Except for that one time that we all broke into his computer and switched all of his color swatches around on him.
Yeah, there was some back and forth, and there was a brief moment of hilarity when everyone rediscovered that I was colorblind. But in the end it came together.

It's interesting to see how this page ultimately turned out after all the behind the scenes back'n'forth you guys were doing.
