i had a teddy ruxpin. cant really remember what the tapes had on them anymore. i think there was a show? with a tadpole with legs henchman and an incompetent villain or i might be mixing up a different show.

I have a vague recollection of that toy. of course I'd have a much more clearer memory of it if I actually owned one. my family wasn't exactly rich back in the 80's.

Nice. I remember Teddy Ruxpin. We had one. You could actually put any cassette in, and his mouth would move (reacting to the audio).

The original version of Teddy Ruxpin was before my time, yes, but the ads for the Hasbro produced version of the early 90's freaked me out as a little kid. Today, if I were better with electronics, I'd probably be turning Teddy Ruxpins, Furbies, and the like into something truly worthy of terror. Like what you got going on here.
