Page 3: Downfall of the soul

This page din't come out exactly as planed, but I am pleased and I learned a alot by doing it.
And to answer T_K's question of Death's fat looks…(I think that I translated “morbidly obese” right, I am from a non-English country, so I am not sure.)
I made him look that way to go as far from the original design as possible without making him totally different from the “real” Grim Reaper. Another reason is that I wanted him to look scary, and “the bigger, the scarier”. It's also because a character that can fill a whole page with ease is a new experience for me.
A new page tomorrow!

Yeah, actually I find this larger version of death scarier than the more familiar one! Very cool comic so far, I'm glad to see you're back!

Yes, I have been greatly inspired by Tim Burton, but not by TNBC or TCB, but his book "The Melancholy Death of Oyster-Boy". You guys should really check it out, since it has both good art and poems. I quote: "For Christmas Stain Boy got a new uniform. It was clean and well pressed, comfy and warm. But in a few short minutes,(no longer than ten) those wet, greasy stains started forming again." And the reason why no page was made today... Well, I'll just have to blame life itself for being in the way all the time. I will try and put something up mid-week instead if I can. I thank you soo much for getting so many comments for my half-decent comic, epecially from artist that are so superior to myself like, well, most of you. See ya!

Your drawings are really neat.. Nice clean lines and good black and white repartition.. I do agree with Keiko, it has something from the nightmare before christmas or the Corpse bride... Any inspiration there?

How can he win if plays without a queen? Your drawing is akin to a girl who sold her drawings at RISD(Rhode Island School of Design). That's a good. A major good.

this reminds me of Tim Burtons, "A Nightmare Before Christmas"
