Sometimes I ask myself if I draw/write/what-not just so that I can fill every sentence and detail with references to the stuff I like. (For example, in most of my short-stories you will find the lines “words…words…words…” out of Shakespeare's Hamlet.) Even the very name of Werner Boccaccio is a reference in itself to two writers that were very important to me for a long time in my life: Italian Giovanni Boccaccio and Swedish Werner AspenstrÃ?¶m. His appearance, however, is mostly based on me.
The musical references should be quite self-explainatory.
