Meanwhile, in a cooler coloured room…
I'll admit, this one was kind of rushed, I guess I just didn't enjoy this page much though. I dunno, it was just kind of dull I guess. Sure did enjoy putting that second panel together though, Edan might not be quite at Tan's level in the weird facial expressions, but he's getting there!
And, given that we only heard Dein's name once before, he's the Governor, that old guy we saw a little while back. Edan is kind of stretching the truth a little, but really, Cian is probably on point with his little comment, Dein is the kind of guy who's less likely to be interested in doing Edan a favour, and more in the idea of making a display of things!
But, anyway, next page it's back to a little goofiness, so maybe I'll get to draw something more than just two guys sat around talking!

Hey if it's any consolation, I'm interested enough in the story that I don't mind a little sitting-and-talking page!

Heh, well, that's good to hear, because there's probably going to be a few in the future! (but, at least I managed to cut the worst of it from this chapter!)
