Snipers actually have more to do with math than being able to aim well. Judging distance, gravity's pull, wind changes, power of the gun, and other things. Aiming is important, but at longer distances, your going to be aiming no where near the targets. But, since this is fiction, none of that matters because bullets fly in a straight line.
