I had a free day yesterday, so I spent all day on this. I thought it would be another week before this came out. I really like how well the wet-tshirt worked ^_^.
your style is fantastic. not just your art, which is impressive and painterly... but the words are poetry, and the meandering form the words take on the page seems an art form itself. I can't wait to read the whole thing. Woo!
I'd like to welcome the people who googled "wet t-shirt" next time ill have to say "naked chicks" on my author's notes, maybe that will increase hits. hahaha
That t-shirt IS wet!
The colouring and such is very warm and awesome. Really puts you there.
I have a couple of probs with the anatomy (miss me? :p) inc no hips on that woman.. plus her facial features are quite large compared to the room for the skull. Also her lifted arm is shaded so that it looks as its been folded over funny.
Anyways, likes it. Didn't you update yet? :p
i use a very cheap wacom. my $200 waccom broke down a year ago. now i have to use a small $99 one. which isn't as good because after 3 months the pen broke and i had to buy another one. the pressure sensitivity is so off, im surprised i can still do art with it.
I was trying to connect a lot of themes that reflect the page with the writting. "emerged, raise, upper" describing her coming out of the water. And the way I rhymed "epitome" and "creativity" is a creative way to say that she is beautiful. I'm glad people are able to pick up on the writting also.
I love the warm colors..and the painting itself. I really admire how you can create such unique characters too.
Do you use Intuos Wacom? because I use Graphire, and I was wondering if there's alot of difference betweeen the two when painting.
oh wow! I just read your comment box on the last page. I had no idea! I did enoy the comic while it lasted but this ones very lovly looking too. the detail in the faces and the wonderful colors. I'm hoping to see more. I'll have to add you to my box so I don't loose it. I'm glad I found it forgot how I did but I did. ^o^

Spectacular lighting. I love how soft everything is, like a painting. (I wonder...)

Heh, Lady of the Lake! SWEET! Nicely rendered, you've captured the realism and the emotion of the characters.

Woww, great coloring skills and the characters are so realistic. Looks like a photograph almost. I like it.

Your poetry is great. Your art is like poetry, too. Everything captures the best of the details.
