CRITICS ACCLAIM
Charby is heavily character-driven, the author scores a lot of points by revolving the story around the actions and consequences of these characters.
you easily get a feel for what each character is about based on their facial features, expressions/body language, and clothing
her grasp on characters is very very good. Each person/thing has its own personality and they are logically consistent throughout.

Aaaah, I'm so glad! Amelius totally steals the show with character design! :D Congrats girl! (though the designs in the presentation comic are nothing to scoff at either - nice work lilac!

Absolutely a category Charby excels in. Only good characters can carry such a long-running comic series. No other factor plays such an important role in a comic like this. And the characters become more dynamic and "real" as the comic goes on (hopefully for many pages and years more). I love this presentation too. Very bright and texture-y. ^_^ (Words like that disqualify me from any writing awards. XD)

Congrats to Charby! I tend to think that well-designed characters are even more important than story ... and, well, Charby excels at giving us highly individual characters!

Looks like Charby's giving Shades a run for its money! Another well-deserved win. If there's one thing that stands out about Charby, it's the cast of outlandish characters.
