Issue 1, page 3

Updating a day early since I'm not sure if I'll be online tomorrow. I looked at the last modified date on this page on my computer, just for kicks. 11-17-2006. That's…older than I expected. Hahaha, jeeze! What have I been doing for the last two years? Anyhow, I'm sure it will come as no surprise to you if there's a slight shift in the quality of the art about half-way through this issue. Shouldn't be anything horribly dramatic though. (I made the cover fairly recently, and did the title page in the two days before I posted it.) I'm more or less going to be sticking with the coloring style I've been using, though I may mix a little more brush tool work into the backgrounds, especially once I get a tablet. (Whenever that happens. Hopefully soon-ish.)

wait a sec, if you don't have a tablet, how do you do those colors? @_@

Thanks, guys! Cars are hard to draw. I think the one thing that made it easier for me on this page was that they were kinda small, so I didn't have to get very detailed. I mostly used one point perspective on this page, so it was actually not too bad. (Oh, also, fake perspective. Sometimes you just don't sweat it when it's for one little panel, haha.)

Love how straight the perspective looks, hard to do.

Yeah, those cars are great. They're my least favorite thing to draw, too :) I love your backgrounds.

Love the perspectives!! So difficult they can be. Good job!

it looks really pretty. I love the perspective when the blond is looking down at the other character climbing up the stairs. Kudos on all of the great car drawings in the background...I hate drawing cars. -J.
