Here's page 1 of Fusion #4, and we cut straight into the action. The info in the flashback in the last two panels of this page (and the first panel of next page) are topics Savunn discussed a bit more in-depth in her blog (http://savunnslife.blogspot.com).
My vacation's over, so we'll be back to the Tuesday and Friday update schedule starting today. However, next week I'll also be posting a bonus pic (just a stand-alone pic with no bearing on the story), so there will be three updates next week.

Murder! Oh my, this is serious.

It's Thermo's first appearance and he's already crossed the line!

Timm street....niiiice.

A serious villain!? Exactly what I was looking for.

Timm Street is just a reference to Bruce Timm of Batman the Animated Series fame, also which this comic's style is patterned after. Can't wait for all of the baddies.

God of War--Don't worry. There will be a number of alliterative heroes mentioned in this issue. Savunn's blog also has some details about who the Purple Principal was. Mainly, he did a lot of community outreach and school appearances for disadvantaged kids, as well as being famous for his Paddle of Vengeance, which he used to clobber drug dealers who peddled to kids.

Purple Principal? This is such ridiculusly awesome concept that I feel bad about his dead, even through I never seen him. Or maybe that's because I never seen him.

The "Purple Principal"?? I'm curious what HE looked like---did he keep super-villains after school or something? Nice way to jump right into the action!---Al

Keep these coming! I keep missing the updates so I'll go back and catch up.
smkinoshita at 8:18AM, Aug. 10, 2010
Welcome back! But there's something odd if a fire-powered villain is using a gun... I don't get the Timm Street reference though.

Excellent! Right to the action. I take it this Thermo is going to be a huge threat. Also, I dig the "Timm Street" reference!
