Here's page 2 of Fusion #9, and it seems someone's keeping tabs on the situation in Darmar.
For those who might've forgotten, last issue, X-Pletive said that he and X-Ponent would have to talk to Brooder (see page 10 of Issue #8).
(EDIT: I edited the text on this page on Feb. 6. Heaven's Gate location was corrected to “Atro City,” as established back in Issue #6.)

mhalpern--Forgot all about Doc Brown saying that! I really need to go back and watch those movies. And do you honestly think Lord Industries would be up to anything so nefarious? Tsk. You obviously haven't been listening to his PR machine. In Fusion's world, he's a great man. ("Yeah. Great at getting us into trouble.")

Um did I just read Doc Brown's (Back to the Future) favorite words here? (And i already know the answer)as for that 'ACCIDENT' I highly doubt it wasn't planned or at least highly expected, finding ways to neutralize the majority of the power in an active Hydrogen Bomb, can be a bit dangerous (they work off of using fission to heat up a pocket of hydrogen instantly to the point of fusion hence amplifying the amount of damage it causes while reducing fallout and the use of uranium) seeing as that's the closest they'll get to mimicking the new pest in town
