Tssha--Conroy probably burned a lot of those bridges long ago. As was established back on page 13 of Issue #2, "Conroy Tech has been very generous with their support" of SAS. Also, from the sidebar on page 5 of the Faces magazine interview with Captain Stupendous (http://theduckwebcomics.com/Essay_Bee_Comics_Presents_Fusion/5448006/), we also know Conroy had a big hand in establishing SAS as well as the laws that govern superhero activity. In short, Conroy has been a supporter of the superhero community pretty much from the start, so actions like this would not be unexpected.

That's a...controversial stand. He's likely to get flack from some for that stance...and praise from others. Still, I think he knows what he's doing...he'll come out ahead in the end. Still, some bridges HAVE been burned...
