Melt the cannon barrels and fuse the turrets to the bodies. Then melt the drive sprockets, bogies and tread links. Totally disabled tanks with zero crew damage.
My nephew in the military says American equipment is all shielded from EMP, so it's good you didn't go that way as these tanks are probably shielded. It's not hard, just requires meticulous maintenance. So unless they are using old T-72's from the olden days that had seen better days, an EMP would be pretty useless until it's powerful enough to kill people.
She primarily has to stop them from firing, the truck should be faster, though stopping the front of the column from proceeding would slow them down significantly
ahh so she cant do that.. at least not dirrectly without tools she doesn't have (all forms of energy can be converted from one form to another, she'd need to be the battery of a device that could generate an electromagnetic pulse... still she can cause them to expeience sensory overload.. and depending on the tanks themselves she might be able to safely detonate the ammo racks, though with many tanks doing that may kill the crew one notable exception being the M1 Abrams, which was specifically designed so that the ammo being hit would not hurt the crew

mhalpern--Check my comments two pages back: her powers don't allow her to create EMPs (although she'd undoubtedly love it if she could).

And EMP should make it quick
