Sway--Thanks! Glad you're enjoying the story. As you've probably figured, I tend to lean much more heavily on character than action, so it's always nice to be complimented on the world-building. And I'm enjoying The Harlot.
Eddings_Insignia--This was discussed a bit over at ComicFury, and I laid out the time line to show it wasn't possible. To quote: "Adam's [Brooder] in his early/mid-50s during Fusion. . . . He was in Thailand during his mid- to late 20s. Brooder first appeared in Atro City when Adam was 29. Narri [Adam's fiance] was a few years younger than Adam. Savunn is 16, so Adam was around 37 when she was born (a little over 8 years after Narri's death)." That said, I do think you can safely assume that Brooder sees a lot of his past--and a lot of "what-ifs"--in Savunn
Anyone taking bets that she is actually his daughter, from the wife/fiancee/whatever who supposedly died while visiting her family in her home country?
So I just burned through this comic the other night, and it's really enjoyable! The amount of world-building you've done in a scant few issues is really impressive. Very cool!
cdmalcolm1--Brooder's may have cracked a bit of a grin before (http://theduckwebcomics.com/Essay_Bee_Comics_Presents_Fusion/5343126/ ), but I think it's safe to say this is the first time he's--at least figuratively--removed his mask in front of Fusion.
tupapayon--I think you have a good read on the situation. For probable explanation, the Adam Conroy interview from earlier (starting at http://theduckwebcomics.com/Essay_Bee_Comics_Presents_Fusion/5461316/ ) may hold some clues.
