I don't know if we overplay the underlying joke here where Abbot's computer keeps asking him so many times annoyingly if he wants to execute a command.

Programs today have much better interface design than we did in the 80s, 90s and early 2000s. They are more intuitive and easier to use because programmers today are trained to think with the end user in mind, and of course the tools to create programs are more mature.

Before they used to just be happy it worked, building everything from scratch every single time using emacs, and notepad. Things like security, ease of use by a human being and not a programmer… even making the program readable were all after thoughts.

We do get it a bit today on some programs, but not as much as we used to. Every single command used to have a debug dialogue. lol. Now it's only once every so often.

Ah look we had to point out that it's a mudslide, because we weren't sure the art could convey it properly. It was a bit of a challenge, as even in reference photos, it's hard to tell it's dirt in motion. :)

I kinda miss drawing in this style since I could crank out 3 pages like this if I wanted to. I just didn't care to be careful at all. I even don't think it looks too bad.

Compared to next chapter's first scene, there is a huge difference in effort.
