4 - Happy drinking age

My bud's b-day. She said she'd buy me EEEeeethanol. We're not much of a heavy drinkers, so no puke fest. So yes, in Canada we can drink when we're 19 (legally) and in Quebec (as well as Alberta and Manitoba) we can drink when we're 18. I live right beside Quebec, but am too cheap to spend $20 on cab fair.

Americans are harsh with the age limit and shit. Yes, I've been looking at the legal drinking age of different countries on wiki. 21 is the highest (excluding like 1 or 2 countries where booze is banned because of religion).

Some countries have different drinking and purchasing ages. Like in New Zealand there's no official drinkin' age, but to buy you gotta be 18. And some places are like: Yo, if you're gonna drink beer - 16 yrs old buddy! But if you want to drink scotch, you gotta be 18!

In some places (for example Papua New Guinea) there's no age limit for any boozerey. The lowest age for buying (besides none) is: 12 years old in Cyprus.

Anyway I think that in countries that boost the age limit the max, the kids are like: OMG drinking is riske and cool - a form of rebellion or some shit. kids in Papua New Guinea just don't give a fuck, they just chill out and take a sippy poo of a white russian.

Plus in a Guatemala, you can't serve booze after 1AM.

Interesting stuff…maybe
