Haha, yeah, a bit weird. ^_^; I had a story I was dreaming up ages ago where all natural phenomenon were based on various fantasy creatures. The weather was ruled by equines - like pegasus controlled the winds - unicorns were thunderstorms with the drumming of their hooves making the sounds of thunder and their horns acting like lightning rods. That whole thing was scrapped years before even FFC started, but I always kinda loved the lightning!unicorns idea, and with the "light" being a thing in this comic...well, it was a natural fit. ...admittedly a bit weird though. XD
