[2008/26/08] Official Scrap

To those who are still reading this, I thank you. It looks like I'm all serious business here but this is in fact serious business- with the exception that I'm in a jolly good mood at this moment (Being all slouchy for any reason is really bad for my self-esteem).

I'll keep this short and concise- this First Fantasy is dead. I originally made this out of boredom but now I realize that no comics should be done in such manner. As of now I'll work to recreate First Fantasy in a whole new way- think of Metal Slug X.

Long story.
One day I decided to show one of my sprite work in some forum. Didn't go well at all- got bashed left and right over how it was extremely… bland in visual and script-wise (Not like they would've done any better- but I knew better than just saying that out loud).

Well that demotivated me for a bit but I got over it hours later (It's gonna take more than well-directed bashing to demotivate me). Even if their words sounded harsh, they managed to knock into my senses. I constantly thought over First Fantasy for quite some time- why it was made, how it was done, what I'll do with it… they all just seemed too unreasonable. Honestly, I could do a lot better than what I have right now.

Then I noticed that it was a bit too late to try a radical change on it. It would be too much. I had no other methods other than just killing it and start over nice and fresh. So that's what I'm going to do. There was just no sense in keeping people wait any longer if they have not forgotten about it by now.

I suppose I could give those guys a thanks for putting some sense into me. But nah, they were still jerks and it cancels out my appreciation towards them. You won't be seeing any of these now.

Again, thanks for reading. It was great while it lasted.
