Great start! Lovely artwork, and cool character design. Looking forward to seeing where you take the story! Re your question on panels: Western-style comics [i]do[/i] tend to have more panels per page but I suspect that's largely because they use larger pages than most manga-style publications (not a factor acknowledged by most analyses!) Webcomics run the whole range from single-panel pages to fully detailed 6-7 panel pages. If you have very little happening on each page it's probably a good idea to aim for a more frequent update schedule (if you can!) but there are no hard and fast rules. As long as the comic holds the reader's attention, webcomic readers are used to waiting for instalments!
