056. How many grants could a post-grad get

This is what I come up with at the zero hour when I have no gag and no strip. ^_^; But my friend giggled at it, so I decided to run with it.
There are several reasons I was pressed this week and not coming up with brilliant gags. For one thing, I was volunteering on a haunted trail as a mad scientist. Another reason is that I have some close friends visiting, who live in another state and whom I rarely get to see. I have also been working on several comic-related projects – including trying to create a print version of Gelotology compiling this past year's 50-some strips. (Gelotology's one year anniversary was Saturday.)
Hopefully I'll get things together. I'm acquainted with the director of the local history/art museum, and she might sell some of my books in the museum bookstore. She (and the museum) works with local artists and writers.

Is this a genetically modified woodchuck? Because if not, the qualifier "if" in the question they're seeking the answer to would mean that a regular woodchuck could chuck no wood (and is probably why it's looking at the wood instead of chucking it). Of course, if they're working under the hypothesis that "A woodchuck would not chuck wood because it cannot chuck wood," it looks like their hypothesis is being proven. Of course, I don't think I've seen any facilities that breed woodchucks for scientific research, so the scientists probably would need a larger sample to get viable results. Thus the need for another grant.

@roycemarie: I did have a job interview in a natural history museum last year, but I didn't get that job. :( The local museum is small and doesn't have many paid positions. I volunteer there sometimes. The museum director did refer me for my job at the state park, though. I'd love to have a paying job in a museum, but there's fierce competition, and I'm just not very competitive. @everyone else: Thanks for the support!

Nice joke :P I've been extremely busy as well. Stupid life, keeping me away from comics!

Might a museum job be in your future? I have always found museums fascinating.
