I've widened the panels but I'm not happy with the 2*2 layout. Should I go back to the old one-strip set-up? Maybe do it horizontally from now on?

Hmm...you could try a 3*3 but you would have to make the panels smaller. Most comics have a 3*3 layout, like me!

the width is perfect. maybe if you worked on the height by adding another row then it would work. I like the last panel btw
