151 - George the Dragon: Valid Question

Good Morning!
I rather like this one. It had me giggling before I even put any text onto it :D
I was experimenting around with the background and I think it came out quite well.
So, everyone I know refers to these guys as beefeaters, however, when I looked up what a beefeater was, well, they didn't dress at all like this. As far as I can tell they are just sentries.
In any case, George is visiting Buckingham palace this week. Hope you like it!

I know it doesn't really matter now as this was posted a while back but those sentries are from 1 of 5 regiments that serve in the British Army, the Grenadier Guards, the Coldstream Guards, the Scots Guards, the Irish Guards and the Welsh Guards. They take it in turns to guard the palace and all have slightly different uniforms and bearskins (the hat). Beefeaters were, and still are, the prison guards at the tower of London. Thus endeth the lesson :)

Now there's one that'll teach people not to mess with the sentries! :D A while ago I saw a couple of guys on youtube make a guard crack a smile by singing "You're beautiful" to him. If I were him, I'd shoot them ;) I hate that song!
