Now here's the fun part: There's literally no difference between tap water and bottled water when it comes to pollution (... well, I can only speak for Germany to be fair). In fact, tap water is even healthier for you because what little particles there are in it (pipe abrasion, etc.) is healthier (because its mostly iron and minerals) than bottled water - especially from plastic bottles (plastic in your water is not an adequate substitute for your internal mineral household, kids). Bottled water mostly tastes fresher because of the carbondioxide in it. Bubbly water automatically tastes "fresher", even though it technically isn't.
