when I was your age, I had to walk five miles, uphill, in the snow, just to check the analog clock, then five miles back, uphill, in the snow.
And we liked it!
You have never owned a Citizen, have you?
Lazy bums.
My mom's car has an analog clock instead of a digital like all the others, and it's set fast by 3 or 4 minutes.
So whenever I ask the time in her car she points to the tiny analog and I tell her "I can't read that, it's analog." and she gets mad at me.
Thing is, our generation is set for electronics, and digital clocks are part of that, so we became accustomed to just glancing at the time and being done with it, instead of learning how to read analog and looking at it for a few seconds to understand the time.
Also, I hate it when I ask for the time and someone says it's "about a quarter till". A quarter till what? Normally when I ask the time I need the exact time because I need to be somewhere at an exact time.
My daughter can't tell analog time and she's eighteen. Full college scholarship and can't tell time. I don't get it.
Maybe she needs a talking watch with fresh batteries.

I like analogs because of how stylish the ones I buy are. And I've honestly never seen a stylish digital.... Ima start looking for one.

What time is it? TIME TO BUY A FREAKING WATCH. Then learn to tell time. Then get a job and move out of mommys basement.
RushtonCygnus at 1:16PM, May 5, 2009
I prefer sundials, no winding at all.
Gillespie at 1:00PM, May 5, 2009
That clock's heart must not run on batteries. :S
Jonko at 10:35AM, May 5, 2009

I agree with Tedmund, digital watches FTW. Analog is so old fashion.
Stickfodder at 1:05AM, May 5, 2009
I like those analog ones that wind themselves as you move.
