Ted's Bible Corner #1: What is the Gospel?

CartoonistWill on June 7, 2020

Hello, Gospel Chums!

Today's comic page is actually kind of old. From 2019. I guess I need to give more attention to my old stomping grounds on The Duck! Back then The Duck wasn't even called The Duck… Anyway, today's update is actually two comic pages that appeared in the first colored issue of Gospelman Adventures. It's meant to be more like an adult or young adult Bible study corner. Page one got bogged down with too many Bible verse references as I was trying to figure out what I was saying. Felt too mechanical. Page two finds me coming alive with my emotions and feelings about the Gospel. I'm not the fictional Ted Silverman, but a lot of me - my better aspects, anyway - went into his character. Just like the more negative aspects of myself went into my SuperMilo character. If you haven't read SuperMilo, it's here on The Duck and a plethora of other mirror websites. We will eventually come back from hiatus as I have worked on new strips in the past 6 years. I've been away dealing with debilitating health issues that got bad in 2014 and again in 2016-2017.

We're mostly updating these days at our Patreon and our comic strip and adventure serial both at Comic Fury, so please forgive the lack of attention here. Although on Comic Fury I have the comics separated, here the comic strip and adventure serial are combined. For the time being. If you'd like to buy digital or print issues of Gospelman comics, please visit our webstore at IndyPlanet. For our Facebook page click here. Also, we have a Youtube here.
