GIADC 3: The Battle Begins

I am now, and will for a bit parodying the Odyssey with the comic. Each comic will infuse bits of reality together along with bits of stuff that is happening in GIADC's mind.
This is when, in the Odyssey, Odysseus (our hero (now GIADC)) leaves his home to fight in the Trojan War. This is not actually written in The Odyssey, but the book's prequel, The Iliad.
This page was a HUGE learning experience for me. It was hard for me to keep all my layers straight, and I will now need to constantly check them, as well as name them all. I couldn't do everything in this page because of my mess up with the layers. I wanted to blur the pages background some, but it couldn't happen. I'm still proud of this comic though.
In this comic is his mother, named Penelope, as well as his little brother back in the distance.

I imagine he'd get bullied at school, what with the costume. But then again, he could just ask them why they aren't wearing a costume, and blow their heads up... Nice page anyway!
