Here is the first character, submitted by SUX. And he's an interesting-looking fellow!
So what do you think his story is? What's his name? Where's he from? What's his background? What powers and abilities does he have? etc. In short: Who is this guy?
For those of you just joining us, this month's challenge is described at:http://www.theduckwebcomics.com/Heroes_Alliance_Monthly_Mayhem/5473915/

I really like how everyone's given this guy some pretty interesting backgrounds. Ironically he was just named "Alien Hunter" when I randomly drew him up and I like that a few of them kinda nod to that. They are all so good!!!

Thok's equipment includes a black leather outfit that enables him to fade into shadows. On his left arm he wears the squall talon - a magical blade consisting of razor-sharp chilled air. His mask enables him to breathe any substance from water to poisonous gas. He also possesses a series of holding pouches that magically contain an array of other artefacts. Thok also has the natural goblin ability to see in the dark. (The bracelet on his right arm also does something cool, but I can't decide what. xD).

I like that a lot, Ironhand, very cool! Personally I think this is Thok. He was one of a huge goblin clan employed to defend an evil sorcerer's catacombs. After seeing his clan repeatedly decimated by adventurers, he decided to forsake that life and find another way. He got a bunch of friends together and murdered the sorcerer to take his stuff themselves. Thok was first to get his hands on the sorceror's magical armoury and he promptly used it to murder his friends and keep all the loot for himself. Unfortunately, he also accidentally activated the sorcerer's magical mirror and found himself transported to a strange universe (the HUNiverse) with only the equipment he was carrying and a large bag of gold and magical loot. Thok doesn't really understand this strange new world, but he's found that (a) he thoroughly enjoys hurting people and (b) there's a lot of gold to be made for doing so. And people here seem to *really* like gold.

...structure has been enhanced with an unbreakable substance, his irradiated organs have been replaced and finds himself gifted with enhanced intellect, endurance and strength courtesy of his mysterious alien saviours. Voltigern now finds himself alone – a warrior who is the last of his kind…hunting for those who murdered his kind for those who saved him but doesn’t know who they are. Voltigern will ally himself with anyone necessary as long as it helps his own agenda to find those who changed his life forever. He’s not a hero, nor is he a villain…he is the last warrior of Taira. That could spell trouble for anyone who crosses his path.

This is Voltigern, a being from the planet Taira. Taira, for as long as anyone can remember, has been in constant war with its sister planet Oldhar and their war has spread across their galaxy (far away from other alien species in the HUniverse such as Earth and Evos) – involving several species. Voltigern is loyal to the emperor and councils of Taira and is stationed on a space station orbiting the planet – acting as the last “wall of defence” if the enemies were to breach Taira. Without any notice, bombs materialize all around Taira, completely irradiating it and killing every living thing within hours. As they are further away from the blast, Voltigern and the remaining crew in orbit are given a lower dose of radiation, meaning they are to survive longer. Just before his inevitable death, Voltigern is took in by an unknown alien race (who are not part of the war) and saved within inches of his life. Voltigern awakens alone on a distant planet, only to find his skeletal...
