This chapter started out as a means to pit two characters by two creators against one another, with no draw and no “we'll just have to accept we are equal” stuff.

Relik was the first of those main characters and im so glad it was. Retake was personally my favourite superhero comic on the Duck and pretty soon the character launches into a new title of his own called “Relik”.

@Alschroeder: The way i see it is this - the HU is not a fixed team of heroes (yet) and so Relik is one of many heroes who COULD be selected a a team leader of missions. It's a promotion thing.

So...he's like field leader? Like Cyclops working under Professor X in the early X-Men, but leader during the actual action? Or J'Onn J'Onzz working under Max Lord in the Bwa-ha-ha Justice League?
