Just a little update to let you guys know where I've been and why there hasn't been any comics lately. Bottom line, lots of drama and depression issues.
Don't think about every turn down as they are turning you down, but see it as just another check mark on getting things done. If p is the probability of not getting a job and x is the number of jobs applied for then the total probability of getting a job is 1-p^x. So if you think you only have a 5% chance of getting a job p is .95. Then if you apply for 40 jobs you have a 1-.95^40=90% chance of getting a job. So keep working on it, and remember to always be positive, freaking out during an interview or getting disappointed or angry will not help. Also for any paper submission resubmitting once a month isn't absurd(Or in the case of online once a week since it doesn't cost them the extra money per application). But yeah we all been there, make sure to ask lots of people for advice too since the more people you talk to about it the less alone you feel in it and people have connections no one lives in a vacuum. Well speech over. Great page. I like the second and third panels each for thei
r own reasons. Anyways yeah keep trying and do your best it will be over once you get a job. Sorry to drop so much math on you but I just want to help you keep at it.
