finally, here it is! sorry took so long, folks. With the finished page, our viewpoint is a bit higher than I originally planned and not as close. was sort of going for that “opening wide, cinematic shot”. I think I like how the sea came out but not so much the grass. What do you think?

Every blade of grass looks good here, might get a bit hard to maintain though :)

A sign of a really good artist is that they always beat themselves up more over their work than the readers do, which is why I detest the odd few who deliberately leave rude or nasty comments, because most dedicated artists I know at any level are always striving to improve. This is a beautiful first page (3 my ass!!! tsk)and it came across to me exactly as you described in your editorial . The art is lovely and the colouring really nice. For a first page it moved me and made me want to read more so it would get a 5 in my book even if the art was of a lower standard.

i don't like how the grass turned out here. its okay for the page but thinking it could have been done better. trying to draw all the blades made it too redundant. oh well. live and learn. i like how the bike turned out. thank you, Plymayer for the rating.
