In Star Trek and Stargate SG-1, all the aliens speak English, so why not the Ambis?
Come to think of it, they don't speak Ambis Common much on Earth. That's mostly because I often forget to put the around the dialogue and often have to remind myself when they are speaking Ambis Common.
Also…Atra is easier to write when she speaks English since her Ambis Common is broken.

I knew that about Star Trek (been a trekkie since I was little), but I was kind of goading my fellow sci-fi fans with that comment. I didn't know about Stargate, though. I haven't seen enough of the series (or remember them talking about it if I had) to know that. I was just thinking about the theatrical movie.

actually in star track they perfected the universal translator, and in Stargate English is just one of the many common languages that is spoken around the multivariate, plus many species tend to have been influenced by the ancients or have weird ability or supper advanced technically -whoops i think i may have geeked out a little.
