I'm putting together a crossover project, which will run through many comics and eventually raise money to benefit the Hero Initiative, a charity that helps comic creators in need. If you want to be involved, please e-mail me at karamesser@hotmail.com or PQ me on this site.

Top page: Astral meets Ammon Man. What does Ammon mean? Well, it's my attempt to transcribe how the word is pronounced by some people around where I live. Since much of the area North of Sacramento is agricultural land, a lot of different types of crops are grown, but the big two are olives and almonds. However, most people pronounce almonds “ammons”, because “we go up to the tree and shake the ‘L’ out of them”. It's silly, and silly for me to have a nut-based superhero, but of course I already also have Eiderdown, whose power is even sillier. Also, notice the condition of Ammon Man. I'm sure people can assume why he looks like that, and therefore see a danger for Astral.
Also, Sparkle gets her bit at the bottom, and she's having a much harder time. Still, I like the closeup of her fist. Any time I can draw in decent detail, I like it.

Bottom page: This one is much simpler than above it. Still, it shows Tempore's hopelessness. He can't even blast his way out, and for the first time in a long time he's without power. I feel like I'm torturing him, but I also know the brutal efficiency the Evil Overlords have. They would have known he would try to blast his way out of the cell and took measures accordingly. Fun fact, though: I was toying with him being unable to speak while powerless, since he doesn't have an efficient mouth. However, I made him speak when Catnap was touching him, so that idea was dropped.
