Post-issue tak 1: issue 12 - Empty Spaces

I'm putting together a crossover project for next year which will run through multiple comics and also try to benefit the Hero Initiative. If you want to join in on the crossover fun, e-mail me at karamesser@hotmail.com or PQ me on this site. You don't exactly have a deadline to sign up, but the sooner you do, the better you can guide your comic through the storyline and the more immediately you can get the cool crossovers set up.

Heroes Alliance is currently running chapter 7, which was written by myself. It's nearly done with its epic length and features a lot of great art. Check it out here on Drunk Duck!

And check out Trans Dimensional Trans Superheroes, my new community project comic, also on Drunk Duck!

Onto the page at hand: Ah, the snarkiness, and the actual pictures. Did you miss real images? I did. I don't think I'll do an issue like this one again (though I'm thinking of how to do an issue where the world has been turned to chaos, which could be fun). And now we get the black and white Kara Bear and… Ook? Who is Ook, you may ask (and rightfully so). It's a stuffed animal at my work which was in the break room tagged with “Please repare and keep”. Despite the misspelling on the note, I decided to do the second part (since I don't know how to sew its arm back). The ape seemed like a good addition to my post-issue talks because it's a stuffed animal that doesn't seem to have a copyrighted look (unlike, say, my Pound Purry I've waffled on putting into my comic).
The black and white is an interesting way to go, though. I had no idea how it would turn out and think the photos still look nice. The comic covers, on the other hand, range in quality. But then again, they do so in color, too.
