Page 12: Crossover Melee 3 - Time

I do these close-ups on the eyes, in part, because it's easier. But it gives me an ability to actually show eye expressions. And in this page, the villain seems to have noticed the presence of our heroes. So the two settings can start to converge. I also had him mention the sword because I wanted to give a reason why he was engaging in a sword fight and all that. It's pretty simple: the craftsmanship put into a genuine samurai sword is enough to give it a high value. It's hard to steal from a samurai, but if you defeat them, you can then simply take their weapon (it's not like they would be using it).
