I see SOMEONE is starting to show a family trait in having a taste for destructive weapons. If the mage council wants to ban them, they can, the dwarves are not under their authority, and do you REALLY want to take on an army with the most dangerous weapons ever, while NOT allowing yourself to use them?

Drake, remember who you're talking about here. This is a guy who managed to figure out how to kill someone with a rubber duck and whose Grampa managed to kill Cthulu with a damp sponge. I think Steve has a sort of instinct for ways of killing people wuite painfully so give him ten minutes and he'll have figured out most of the ways.

Etheral Plane Rifters sound like they are one of three things: One, an unholy weapon that tears magic to shreads. Two, a powerful magicproof armour. Three, a mix of the first two in such a way that Steve can't think of everything that can be done to kill people with it.
