Well, he does sometimes (that we know of) loot from the recently dead mortals, but looting the undead? maybe it just never occurred to him.

Steve needs a few more points in rogue to learn how to loot while he fights and not wait till the end. also @kellmaster: Steve isn't that good a lier, especially not to family, is why he disappeared for so long.
