The real test is hopefully not if you like money, but about how much red flags you miss going for them. First flag: the scythe. Second flag: Sally. Third flag: spiritual evaluation - remember, you always get more points in test if you think about what can be it's purpose.

@Dipti: Money has been a staple of the world for well over two thousand years, so if it's an outdated test, it's been outdated for that long. And anyone who values money over their own life, never mind others'... well, the results speak for themselves, do they not?

But what if you want to use the treasure for selfless reasons? A long shot I know, but what if you want to donate it to a charity, a humanitarian research project; or that friend, neighbor, or relative that needs it to pay for an operation... etc?

I think its an outdated test at best and rigged at worst money is a staple of our world you need it to do selfless and selfish things her on earth. Its a means to an ends nothing more the true test would be what is done with it. One man might want it to make his life easy another to help those less fortunate while a third would find a middle path between the two.
