Aww, poor Idmar.
When I started this chapter I always knew Idmar would die. Keeping him alive was a possibility as much as I'm not too keen on killing characters without giving them a little depth, ultimately it would not have helped the story. So he died Good and proper.
As for characters sticking around… I have plans for many of the characters. some are more pleasant and longer term than others.

Thanks Banes. I like that line too, I've no idea where it came from. I'd live to say it was completely original but I doubt it. Probably hears it somewhere.

D and D is all numbers and they get very excessive, so much it has become a joke.

Ouch! Great stuff. That "died as you lived" line is great! "

Not a clue how any of that D&D stuff actually works, but I'm enjoying the melee!

Davin n.d.e put him to -9... actually I think I made a mistake having him magically healed so early in the comic as that is a one in 10000 kind of deal.

I'm thinking the blade through the throat puts him to -50 hp. He's dead Jim.

With everyone fighting somebody's gotta die. Oh wait this is D&D where everyone has 100 hit points and then -10 for being unconscious. Don't want to piss off the players. ;-) Or in this case the readers. :D
