Sorry for the delay, I've been sode tracked by learning to make games and I am working on a Lore related game. It's a 2D side scrolling action platform game with influences like catlevania, ghouls and ghosts and shadow of the beast. 
This is not going to be finished art. I will be updating the main character and the sand has already been switched out here.
On this one, the enemies have been tweaked since this screen shot was taken and the still need more frames of animation, not that you can see here, but they have only 3 frames. The ladder has been switched out for platforms you can drop through by pushing down.
The character movement and attacks is currently like ghouls and ghosts in that he runs and double jumps and throws knives rather than doing a melee attack. For the finished version i plan to have bothm but thrown weapons will be limited by ammo.

He's a man of his word. He says it and he does it. The game design looks neat. I did some of that while learning Flash back in art school at the turn of the 21st century.

In the final panel I imagine a SPLOIK sound effect. Love the game shots. Looks like a lot of fun.
