mst3k season five and a half

I have challenged myself to do this comic entirely in traditional media – except for the lettering of course. I can't hand letter to save my life. Then again, I can't watercolour to save my life, and I did this cover anyway.
Welcome to the not-so-distant past, and a Mystery Science Theater Alternate Universe fancomic.

Man, harkovast, you have a much better handle on traditional media than I do. It'll have a plot -- it's kind of a love song to the host segment part of the show. I love the actual riffing but I don't have the heart to skewer movies or webcomics (like you suggested). That, and my riffing would pale in comparison to that of the creators. Instead it'll be a space comedy with 90s-animated-show-style storytelling and plenty of the ridiculous.

I love traditional media, that is what we use on our comic. But I am confused as to how you can make a story about MST3000. Does it have a plot?
