Assuming that E(collected from matter/antimatter annihilation) > 1/2mC^2 + energy dissipated in antimatter production, where m = total mass of antimatter and matter annihilated such a system could provide practically limitless energy. Yes I am a physics nerd, equations make sense to me more so then to a lot of people.

clarification, the ship that is grand dreadnaught size or bigger is the construction ship or is that a colonial cruiser? or is that gonna be revealed in Hs? It seems odd that she should have what appears to be centrifugal artificial gravity rings when they clearly have more elegant tech, or are those particle accelerators/colliders? would make sense to power a ship that large...
