once his fighter gets severely damaged he'll eject and use those guns to continue delivering pain, in order of greater effectiveness first, once his pistols are out of power he'll use the sword or at least thats his plan, the liquid armor will protect him from most arrows (the normal stock arrows primarily) and some spells, he still will need help

is the hand held artillery based weapon a fully automatic or a grenade launcher like weapon? come to think of it, it's both isn't it? considering his enemy, it will be on the "eat high energy plasma bolts I feed you at a high rate of fire B*****s" setting, steady stream would be a waist of power and overheat faster. Robert knows better than to play fair, hes gonna take a fighter out for a spin, possibly his.

Riley no one can be both at any extreme of emotion and logical at the same time, the extremes of emotion (any emotion even though the effect is more commonly through anger) cause people to bypass much of their reasoning.... Of course we all already know that, the answering machine has a separate memory unit undoubtedly, it is, after-all a likely house commercial item and not everyone would have a mass data-store at home so it would make sense if it was isolated from all but the coms, other devices may have similar setups with isolated memory any personal devices and the shuttle/fighter craft and escape pods that would be left on standby for rapid deployment have their own memory units (the fighters and escape pods would run short range scans automatically for such an event undoubtedly), much of what data was wiped (excluding navigational data perhaps) can be reconstructed

@hkmaly actually you can, theoretically. As cells divide a small amount of DNA is lost from the ends of the chromosomes with the exception of stem cells, cells divide at a predictable rate, depending on environment they may divide faster or slower than average but based on the amount of the end strand DNA is left you can get a pretty good idea of how old the organism that the DNA came from is
