Sounds like Bitsy died defeating whoever it was that attacked Terran Explorer, which based on the tip Wheels got which led to the creation of herself and her sister ship, as well as the fact that whomever it was was clearly hostile, AND IRA learned of the location of the wreckage somehow, the fact that he's been so busy make's me doubt it was by chance, it would seem it was a Federation vessel that was responsible for her destruction. even so, they must have caught her by surprise, as she would have had the advantages of speed and a ship mind similar to Sox, while neither of those things spell out victory, they both dramatically increase the likelihood of coming out of the fight intact.
