Which is what happens in the traditional drop pod model, what you would need is to experience the initial deceleration while sideways or upside-down, to get neutral or negative g, positive g can cause a red-out. I really wish there was more room to type.

Shock strike, as I suspected, it is possibly the greatest advantage a force capable of rapid insertion can have, it is why Paratroopers and helicopter insertion teams are so successful, why a lot of space scifi toys with the idea of single use drop pods for troop deployment, and why once we start seeing conflicts where ground, helicopter and paratrooper insertion is not an option, we'll start seeing high altitude drop pods, designed to slow down as late as possible while still keeping the occupants alive and alert, possibly using the airbags they use to land the Mars rovers, guidance flaps similar to what Space X is using to recover their boosters, and the g-force training fighter pilots go through to handle the acceleration, the real trick will be in the fact that the worst way to experience G-Force is in a way that blood rushes to your head, -continued
