All right since Mike brought it up, over the last year I have published two books, Transport Betty and Dance. I write under the pen name A. E. Jack. (Shameless plug). Nightingale, Street, Mist and Wisp make cameos. In the yet to be published “Earth Mage”, Nat aka Nightingale, had a pretty substantial support role. All three books take place in the same time line. It is several years after where we are in MM. Nat's in the Army reserves as a Captain by the time of the Academy Fire, and is one of the main character’s best friends.

So where in relation to the Transport Betty and Dance stories is MF currently in the timeline? If I understood correctly, the Replacements world is either at the intersection of 2 different magic filled alternates, one being Terra, or the books were actually dealing with a different part of Terra not explored in the comic. Both theories work, because there is a lot of Terra we haven't seen in the comic, including, almost paradoxically, where the dwarves call home, closest we have come is Institute Island, and that's either considered a minor territory or neutral territory.
