This is a photographic comic but the images are put through a filter in Photoshop to give it a different look. The color is also desaturated like so many recent war movies.
If you've seen my other comic Attack of the Robofemoids you'll recognize this figure as Vronska. I consider my figuers actors that play roles. She's actress Belinda Brandon and she's playing another “part”.

Your technique is unique and awesome and the story plot seems to be promising!
