Thanks japlander... I've always leaned toward heavy inks, though the recent pages I've been working on (I'm about 10 pages ahead), for some reason, its lightened up a bit, not consciously-- So I'll probably veer back because, A) Its looking less like "me," and B) Hey, people have been pretty responsive to the heavy inks! Anyway, thanks again for checking it out... I've been really enjoying Raw Fish, by the way!

Thanks everybody! Iba: Yeah, I thought it was totally the way to go in the beginning but now I'm thinking, not so much. Probably as soon as I get some time to do it, I'm gonna revamp the comic pages a bit and do away with the home page. And yes-- The Pthomar (that sounds better than Pthomarians, thank you)... WHen i first penciled them in my roughs I just drew the 8 circles for eyes on a noseless human body... then i thought, make em hairy like a tarantula. By the time I was finishing the page here, making the eyes all shiny, I realized what they were looking like! Needless to say, 15 or so pages later when I get aggravated rendering all that hair (I've gotten more detailed since this page), I'll mutter angrily to myself, "Stupid Stupid Rat creatures."

I'm slowly getting around to flipping through people's comic. I'm digging it here. I'll be keeping an eye out man. I'm biased in some ways, but I'm never fond of the DD front page. It's difficult to navigate to the most recent page just to begin with. The Phtomar remind me a little of the rat monsters from Bone.
