It's funny in the second panel of what translates I think to "School of Eagles" Uderzo's comic character is just trying to burst through all that serious flyboy stuff. There's one guy who could be in Asterix. Thanks again.-J
Yves, Early Moebius? not even close but something to strive for, thank you. Thanks also for the links. I had already looked up some more realistic Uderzo. Look forward to Mechanko 2.-j
Hey John,
i looked your work up. Wooh! That's phenomenal. and the subject is of course enormously important, heartgripping and vital. that's great, man. And your art is not unlike realist Uderzo or early Jean Giraud, smooth lively line arts. Love it!
Here, on the previous message below, some links to realistic Uderzo.
Hello Cote,
Here are some links to realistic works by Uderzo. It's all kind of mixed up and the best is missing or not extraordinarily well presented. But that's the way it is with the French and the Web... And also because his work on asterix eclipses everything else.

Thanks a lot everybody.
Hey, Cote: Albert Uderzo, that's nice! Thanks. Do you know his realistic work? Anyway I love his brushwork (among other stunning qualities). He's a hell of an inker and an acrobat with a brush.

Yes, Cote, he does, doesn't he? Only the strength and talent of Uderzo could hold it together like this.
