Woop! I was pretty stoked to hear about that. This is a good little teaser, eh? (I'm not Canadian) Thought I'd just jump right into it? No way, gotta' lure ya' in. Come back on the 18th for another update, one that will actually pertain to the storyline.
And thank you, that went extremely awesome. Demise could make it. I'll tell you, Chrono has a Hell of a shot, just got done with Chrono Trigger, it was good. And Attitude Era, ehhh, I was busy watching Sting fuck with the NWO, so no knowledge there, wasn't it all just guessing what the Rock was cooking?
ha ha once again I see what you did there.very clever. for the future, aside from seeing my character in there at some point, its kind of hard to say. Its like asking what would you want to see if they made a PG-13 origin movie for the Green Ranger, the possibilities are endless. Although I wouldn't mind seeing Travis, and Jack compete in a anything goes title match for the number 1 brutal killer. The crown-less king against the champ of the Deathwatch games. Maybe a story of Megaman getting lost in the Twilight Realm a cameo form Midna, Ganondorf kicking some ass only to have his kicked by Link later in a climatic battle, more pokemon Christmas crusades, the debut of Demise, some more Metal(maybe a new lead singer joins the fray), and to top it off an homage to the Attitude Era. Don't know if this is all going to happen but that's what I love about this comic it keeps you guessing. thanks for the interview man. It was fun.
Welp, another comic'll be here in a couple hours, lets end on a strong note for our last question. 13) What would you like to see in the future for MCMM? As you know by now, the only thing for sure about MCMM is nothing's for sure.
Honestly, its the writing. This comic is not afraid to tread where others would setting up situations that no one would consider doing. other people, either try to tell an original story and try to keep it clean(which is ok) or parody a game franchise and its story line.(again ok if you know how to do it properly). this comic has a "do whatever you feel vibe" with its stories keeping you guessing making you come back for back for more wanting to know what's going to happen next.
I believe that's called the El Cid conundrum. 12) There's plenty of things that sets MCMM apart from other sprite comics, and moreover, other MegaMan comics, what in your opinion is the number 1 thing that makes it different?
Well, it was back when I didn't have anything going for me in the online world. I read a bunch of comics on smackjeeves and wanted more. one day one of the comics had a link that led to here. since then I switched to the duck and never looked back. At the time I was looking for a good megaman comics and found a few. (sadly they don't update anymore these days or left). one of them had megaman on the front of them. After curiosity got the hold of me I clicked the icon, the strip came up, and the rest is history.
ha ha I see what you did there. Anyway I enjoy, My Parents Are Nobodies,Legend of Link, The Chronicles of Gaddick, Sonic Plus a Castle, Paper Cuts, and the Idiotic Odyssey all here on The Duck.
Saw Travis Touchdown coming a mile away. And Mighty No. 9, what's not to like? I could work with that. Anyways. Mighty Number 9) What other comics do you enjoy on the Duck?
another tough one. the blood junkie in me says Travis Touchdown of NMH, Jack Cayman of Madworld, and Rick and his mask from Splatterhouse would be perfect for the world of MCMM. However, there is the side of me that wants to see guys like Ghirahim play some role in the near future. or maybe even some other characters form games like Fire Emblem or Resident Evil. There's a lot you could write with Chris, Leon, Wesker, the Nemesis Tyrant(and how great it is at stalking people) and the rest of the cast. heck I wouldn't mine seeing Beck from Mighty No.9 show up at one point.(that game is going to be amazing by the way)
oooh that's tough.Personally I want all 3 Links to come out top however I know we can't have that. According to what I know about all 3 links the one who would likely walk away is TP or SS Link seeing how both of them had proper training in the art of the sword know how to mess a guy(or demon king in SS Link's case)up like no one's business. That doesn't change the fact though that I want to See OoT Link be the victor. He has shown that he is a dominant force in this comic and will do anything to keep it that way. he is the fan favorite and the perfect balance of wit and self taught skill. Even if Demon Kaden rigs the fight turning him into a kid again I still want to say he'll win due to how dangerous and cruel he has shown to be at a young age to every opponent he as ever faced. SS and TP Link will be no exception to the rule. So yeha I'm rooting for my first Link that got me hooked to the chain of Zelda games OoT link to be the winner, despite the odds.
Fully agree there, definitely could have made it better.
7) The winner of this upcoming fight is already determined, who would you like to see win, and why?
I can't really say I found the story to be solid even in its earlier chapters, however I can say I felt that the whole side plot with megaman being in jail during chapter 9 and the first few parts of chapter 10 could have been done a bit better. It had some humor to it sure, but I feel you could have done more with it.
Well it is in my top 5, due to seeing one of 3 Links at their best, but its not my single favorite moment. that has to be the setup for the second bar fight beginning with the Drunk, drugged ramblings of Ehlkneabrae's line about guinea pigs and bunnies on the floor, all the way up to link killing the rest of the robot masters, and taking Centaurman on an amazing adventure. It kept me laughing all the way to the end of the chapter. Pure gold from beginning to end.
another tough question...to answer your first I'd say the comic where Sitred got knocked off her high horse against Fierce Deity Link in one shot fatally wounding her. As for the second question it all depends on the reader. it's always hit and miss with them. if they were looking for a good example of the comic's humor I'd recommend ComicWork Orange to them to get a feel for some of the later jokes and situations to come. If their seeking a good story arc I'd say one of the later strips from chapter 10 preferably the Embodiment's debut to get them going forward while making them want to look back at what's all changed since you started.
I'm glad you did, too.
4) This next question is a 2 parter; which strip is your personal favorite, and which one strip would you recommend to a new reader?
"whew" that was awhile back. I believe it was the strip where King Diamond and Link double teamed Bass and killed him in chapter 2 when I first started to read it. However, it was the strip where in chapter 3 where the battle toads were using mega as a ball for their sport asking "what else is he going to do, and how is he going to do it?" After that I stuck around for all the action and comedy that came with it. I can honestly say I'm glad I did.
Well I'd have to start at the beginning for that one. It was around chapter 4 that I discovered your comic. At first I wondered what was going on,then I made the decision clicked the "first arrow" read it. As I went,I began liking the set up more and more eventually creating me a user here on the duck to congratulate you. Since then I continued to read and try to see what will all happen, such as how you would come back from the dead, and what megaman would do next. So far it seem that I've been close so many times and that as I read the story keeps getting better and better.
