I hate to be one of those comics that just starts posting irregularly and then stops altogether. I'm trying to get things together, I really am. If you want to donate your time to help making a website or want to work with me as an artist, you can send your information to mobties39@hotmail.com. I can't promise to respond right away, but I can promise I'll take a look. Just put 'Mob Ties Artist' or 'Mob Ties Website'In the subject.
Hopefully this is just a phase. Like my goth phase in collage.
I found out about your comic a few days ago.. i did have it before but after reformatting i lost a lot of things. but i found it again a few day ago. and i just finish reading everything.. it is really fun comic to read=D. I want to wish you the best
I understand in a way why you want to take break. go for it. life comes first =D but i hope you can have fun again working on this comic down the line. i feel when you are able to finish it that you will feel good. but over all work on things you want to do now and again i wish you the best! and what ever new project you work on will be great ,because your doing it with your heart and everything

I had a feeling this might happen. I'm glad that it happened. Besides a comic is no good if you don't feel like drawing/writing, and the best thing to do is separate from it for a while. All common knowledge though. Also, I'd rather see your work on the shelves, making you money. So good on you sir.
Hey, stuff happens. In the end, the comic is there for you, not us. That said, in todays world, a nitch can still be a pretty big place. We'll be around.
hehehe I have waited much longer than this for a comic to update, and those were not half as good as mobties. so I heartly wish you the best of lucky AN, may the sun always sine upon your path and the may the winds of fortune always be at your back.
An epiphany coming late is better than never, and I hope you reach your goal. I wanted to be a novelist for as long as I could remember. But the odds of writing fulltime for a living are about 5,000 to 1, so I studied for a more likely career.
Fate had other ideas. I was diagnosed with stage 3 testicular cancer 4 years ago, at age 23. The treatment almost killed me a couple times. It permanently disabled me, making traditional employment impossible.
It also lit a fire under my butt to get writing. It's been more downs than ups and defeats than wins: the industry is pretty prejudiced against outsiders. But it's do what I was meant to do or die trying, which I think is the sort of uncompromising approach to life more of us should adopt, as scary as it is at times. Good luck, man, and let us know how it goes.
Incidentally, I wrote the first issue of a long-format cyberpunk comic book script if you'd ever give any thought to illustrating.
No-one can fault you for trying to follow your dream. Every artist thinks they are "not worthy"... The fact that you HAVE fans, in a flooded field.. means you are at least on the way. KEEP learning. KEEP trying. Just don't forget us. You don't have to make a post a week, or even a month.. just remember that you attracted a following. Don't let THAT go without a fight. You are right.. Producing the comic is secondary to a life's ambition. But sharing your progress, good or bad, with people who give a damn?? NEVER a bad thing.
Good luck!
Hey man we all have dreams. Most of us give up and simply go on living day to day. If you intend to make your dream a reality go for it! While we may get grumpy about the comic being put on hold your life is whats most important. Never give up and keep going forward.
the art doesn't need to be manga style anymore. there are plenty of amazing stories out there that aren't. Same company still makes them. You happen to be very good at what you do, and everyone appreciates your effort! Oh, if you do end up deciding to drop this comic, I am sure many people would appreciate a quick written epilogue to sort of wrap things up so we dont feel like we were left hanging. Thanks!
thanks bro for the news, we're thankfull you're back. Although we'd love to see more mob ties, your life comes first. go be badass dude and live your life. make a aname for yourself. And above all, acheive your dreams.
hey get back to drawing dont make me kick ur ass man. u do fantastic work that really draws in the readers in like quicksand. and as a reader myself i want to see and read more mob ties now quite stalling. now where the age is concern i know a guy tht did comics until his 50's and last i check he is still drawing them so u have to get back on the drawing horse and get right back into it ok.
Hello I am not sure or can remember if I ever posted here much or at all, but I have been reading Mob Ties for a while and I have to say you really need more confidence in yourself your more better than you realize. You also need to realize you gave this comic a life of its own it this art style is part of this to the point it is symbolic with this comic. I love original stuff like this with a passion, hell I wish I had the ability to create my own style like so many people on the web like yourself have done sadly I cannot cause I can't seem to draw the things within my head, but that aside I really hope you the best in your en-devour, but please think of this you have more than you realize you create something people constantly look forward to and people do appreciate your work. Heck another thing I wish I could do is meet the people who make the web-comics I read so much and thank them. I think I rambled on to long so Thank You and Good Luck to your dreams.
